Now I count myself and one other person playing in with Tatra Tuesday, and I get it. That weird Czech car company always pushing a limit that noone defined. Buuuut, they did have some interesting concepts that they put into production. Take today's find, an '81 613-2 for the low low price of 10K Euro (kidding). But anyways, your 10 large gets you an Italian body, a Manuel Transmission, a rear mounted AIR-COOLED V8, and some C pillar buttresses that the original Jag XJS laughs at, sort of. I can vouch for only ever seeing one 603 stateside, and a few on the other side of the Atlantic. You know, the other one with the rear mounted, air cooled v8 and 3 headlights on the early ones. Showing somewhere around 100,000km, you would certainly turn a few heads. Looks pretty darn clean, red velour seems to be holding it's own, although on a personal note that steering wheel looks out of place for such a fine* automobile.

Anyhow, enjoy something you will likely never see over here. Even I cant justify trying for an import at what would likely be 15 grand by the time it hits port. But I want to drive it just to see how much the Porsche tail happy dynamic can be improved by slapping a V-8 in the trunk of a large sedan.

The 613 was somewhat decent looking, I'd like to have one... but the 700? Oh MAN that thing was ugly...

I really like these things. 613s in particular. It's a shame Tatra don't make road cars any more.
